From Jason:

Well, things have been really hopping.  Been working a lot on my
house.  This year has really been a lot about simplifying things.
I have been selling a lot of my gear and have been
concentrating a lot on voice.  Have sold and am selling most of
my pedals and have switched to a multi-effects process:
Digitech's RP500.  It is killer!!  Also sold my Mesa and switched
to a Fender Twin.  I just LOVE the sound of my processor
through the Twin.  Still working on both albums in my spare time
and will record a song with Rikk Beatty on his upcoming album.

More to come....

From Jason:

I have got to update my site more often!  LOL!  Well, things have
been really hopping.  I've been playing a lot at U-Turn at the
Church of Living Water.  I helped to organize their sound
community, purchase equipment, and now play in the band.  It is
a lot of fun and I am impacting the lives of youth.  Who could ask
for anything more?

The album is progressing.  I have about half the songs written
and am working on more.  I hope to actually finish it this year!!
I've started up taking vocal lessons again.  I've been taking
weekly lessons for 2 semesters now from Artist-in-Residence, Br.
Aelred Woodard, O.S.B. at Saint Martin's University, so I am
planning on actually putting vocal tunes on the album as well.

More to come.....

A note from Jason:

Wow!  Has it really been that long since I've updated my site?
Time really flies.  Anyway, haven't been doing much recording.
Been running sound at church, if you can believe that.  Has
been a lot of fun.  Have updated my site with some songs that
I've recorded.  They are all free, so check 'em out!!  I'm almost
done with my first song for my new album and will include a
snibbit of that soon!  Plus, Rikk Beatty will soon be in the studio
recording his latest instrumental rock album titled:  Guitar Farm.
I will be putting some guitar tracks on that for my good friend, so
be sure to keep your eyes (and ears!) open for that!

Thanks!

Tragedy has hit once again.  Jason's good friend, and fellow
musician, Nicolas LaBrec, was in a tragic car accident on
November 24th.  Nic, age 20, was sadly killed.  This devastating
loss is made even harder because of the proximity to the
holidays.  Nicolai, as Jason called his friend, will be sorely
missed.  Jason will be building a memorial page to his friend
soon, but for right now, the grief is too new.

August 16, 2006

Jason apologizes for being gone so long!  "I've just been really
busy with the new albums and lots of family stuff!"  Look forward
to a release of his new album in November 2006.  It will mostly
be acoustic with some vocals and mostly instrumentals.  The site
will be updated shortly with some new pictures and a sneak peak
of what the album will sound like!  Check out the Just for Fun
page to see Jason's newest guitar and a sample song from his
solo album which will be finished sometime in 2007.

Jason is on his own again.  Hump Tulips decided they wanted to
go in a more country direction, so Jason (and his friend Rikk),
knowing that was not the direction they were headed, decided
not to pursue this particular project anymore.  It just wasn't
meant to be...

Jason will continue to work on his solo project and his
collaboration with his friend Bill.  Jason and Rikk hope to start
playing shows together once both of their new CDs are done.  A
show calendar page will be added to the site to inform Jason's
fans of this show schedule.  This is still a very exciting time!!
Thank you for visiting the site.

April 20, 2006

Jason has been on hiatus for a while due to his father's
passing.  However, now he's back and is playing again!  The site
will be updated quite a bit in the next few weeks, so check back
often.  Visit the "Memorial" page to see Jason's tribute to his
dad.  Jason is putting together a solo project and has also joined
a band called Hump Tulips (after the town in Washington).  A
show calendar page will be added to the site to inform Jason's
fans of his show schedule.  This is a very exciting time!!  Thank
you for visiting the site.

Just a quick update.  Jason and Rikk recorded a Christmas CD
with three songs on it.  This CD has two songs on it from Rikk's
full-length Christmas album he recorded in 2005 as well as a
song that isn't on his album.  Details and sound clips will be
available on this website shortly.

November 5, 2005

A sad day.  Jason's father passes away due to lung cancer.  The
government determined this cancer was due to exposure to
Agent Orange during his two tours in Vietnam.  He received full
military honors and was buried in the Tahoma National Cemetery
in Kent, WA.  Jason will be making a web page celebrating his
dad's life.  Look for it soon.

Monday October 17, 2005

Rikk (Beatty) and Jason have decided to record another
Christmas project.  They are still negotiating what it will entail,
but it will involve both instrumentals and vocal tunes.  Stay tuned
as things unfold!

Acoustic Enchantment played a private wedding in Olympia, WA.

Monday, October 2, 2005

Jason is currently working on his new album.  It will be made up
of mostly acoustic guitar and synthesizer, but there will be some
electric guitar and vocals on the album.
